Teaching Procedure:
Step1.Vocabularuy
1) Getting ready
Bring in reality.
T: (Hold up forks.) forks.
Pass the forks to Ss. Ss say the word while passing them around.
Continue with the other items.
2) Using the book
T: Listen and repeat. Point to each umbers as you say it.
Play the tape and have Ss repeat each word.
Point to the picture randomly and have Ss say the word.
3) Extension activity
Step2.Target
1) Getting ready
Pass out some of the picture cards. Have Ss hold up their cards and pose questions to them about their cards.
T: do you have tissues? S1: No, I don’t. I have napkins.
T: Does she have glasses? S 2:Yes, she does.
1) Using the book
Point to the first picture and model the dialog.
Point to the second picture and model the dialog.
T: listen and repeat.
Play the tape and pause after each sentence for Ss to repeat.
2) Extension activity
Divide Ss into groups of four. Each group will have two teams of two Ss each. Use one group to demonstrate the game. The group uses paper cards to make three flash cards with pictures of one, two and three napkins. One student from Team 1pulls out a card and a card and another points to him/her and asks a question.

Step1. Practice2
1) T:  Now, listen and answer the questions.
2) Play the tape and have Ss answer questions.
3) Put Ss in small groups to ask and answer the questions.
Step2.Song
1) Point to the pictures on the page. Ask Ss questions about the items and who has them.
2) Elicit responses and encourage complete phrases.
3) T: Are you ready to sing? Let’s sing! First, listen.
4) Play the tape and point to each phrase as it is sung.
5) Divide Ss into two groups. One group sings the questions and the other group sings the responses. Both groups do the Hey parts together.
6) Song
Divide the class into two groups: the question singers and the answer singers. Bring in plastic utensils. Give each answer singer a set. While sing, Ss hold up corresponding utensils

Step3. Activity1
1) T: Open your books. Work with a partner. What do Tony and Jenny have? What don’t they have?
2) Have Ss ask one another questions, e.g. does she have a fork? Does he have a napkin?
3)  Ss draw lines from the words to the character who has those items.
Step4.Extension activity
         Have Ss refer to the chart in the book for this game. In advance, T translates one of the vocabulary words into numbers using the code chart. T writes each number on a separate piece of paper. Put Ss in small groups.

1) T: Open your books. Look at the pictures.
2) Hold your book up and point to various pictures.
3) T: point to the windows picture. What are there? They’re windows. Do we have windows? Yes, we do.
4) Ask about other items on this page.
5) Have Ss draw various pictures in the open squares.
6) Tell Ss not to let anyone see where they are pitting their particular pictures. Every student’s board should be different.
7) Circulate and check how Ss are doing.
8) When Ss are finished, proceed to play Bingo.
9) For a short game, the student who gets four in a row horizontally, is the winner.
10) If you have more time, play until one student covers up all of his/her squares.
Step2. Sounds and words
1) Have Ss look at the words on the page.
2) T: Let’s listen to the tape.
4) Play the tape and have Ss point to each word as the tape says it.
5) T: Let’s listen again, and this time, repeat.
6) Have Ss repeat after the tape.
7) After enough practice, point to the pictures randomly and have Ss say the word.
8) Help Ss if they have difficulty making the sound/p/.
9) T: Let’s listen to the chant.
10) Play the tape once.
11) T: Now, listen and point to the clocks.
12) Play the tape again and have Ss point to the corresponding clocks while listening.
13) T: OK. Let’s chant together.
14) Play the tape and have Ss chant along.
Step 3. Extension activity
      Make a big hopscotch game on the floor with yarn or tape. Put word cards in each square. Demonstrate how to hop while saying the words in each square. Have Ss go as fast as they can.

2) Let’s listen again and repeat.
3) Play the tape for a then pause.
4) T: which picture is it? Is it this one?
5) Model drawing a line from the letters to their corresponding pictures.  
Step 3. Getting ready2
1) Write three words, e.g. bike, cap and kite at the top of the board.
2) Invite three Ss to do quick sketches of those objects on the board.
3) Invite another three Ss up, have them each say one word and draw a line from the word to the sketch.
Step4. Using the book
1) T: look at the pictures. Match them to their words.
2) Put Ss in pairs to help each other.

2) Write the number seventeen and thirteen to the right of the     picture cards.
3) Write the number tissues and napkins to the right of the written numbers.
4) Ask two Ss to come to the board.
5) T: (speak to S1.) Tony has thirteen napkins.
6) S1 draws a line from the Tony card to the number thirteen    and then to the word napkins.
7)  T: (speak to S2.) Jenny has seventeen tissues.
8) S2 draws a line accordingly.
Step2. Using the book1
1) Point to Gogo, Tony and Jenny and the written words.
3) T: listen. Connect the pictures and words.
4) Stop after each sentence and let Ss repeat.
Step 3. Getting ready2
1) Draw a clock face on the board.
2) Have S1 come up.
3) Dictate a time and have s1draw.
Step4. Using the book2
1) T: Listen and draw in the time you hear.
2) Play the tape, pausing after each sentence to let Ss draw in the time.
3) When finished, let Ss exchange books with partners and check one another’s answers.
Step 5. Getting ready3
1) Have Ss look at the pictures around the word search.
2) Go over the words orally.
Step6. Using the book3
1) Ss find and circle the words in the words search.
2) T: (Model an example.) fifteen. I see the word “fifteen”, find the other words and circle them.
3) Circulate around the classroom to help Ss.

1.游戏形式复习能激发学生兴趣,学生在活动过程中复习、巩固旧知识,效果好。

2. 字母的书写是一个重点,个别学生忽略了书写应注意的问题,有待加强。

At first, get the students listen to the listening part, then finish the written part, at last, get the students check their answer carefully.

 

Explain the test paper (Unit 9---12)

Hand out the paper to the students first. Explain the answers, get the students pay attention to the difficulties. Do more exercises about the difficulties.

情况分析

 

本次单元测验情况不太好,听力的听音将句子排好因为没有读出句子的序号,所以做得不好。因为最后一单元复习的时间比较仓促,对单词和句子的识记情况不是太好,所以成绩是本学期最不理想的一次。
