 1、本节课教者采用了多媒体教学，学生参与度较高，课堂气氛活跃。如：课文的展示通过一段动画片来进行，形式新颖，学生很感兴趣。
2、新授之前，教者通过一系列师生及生生交谈，联系实际生活，处理了课文中的生单词和日常交际用语，为后面学生的学习消除了障碍。如：通过介绍听课的老师，引入了“visitor”。

2、教者善于抓住各种教学锲机，善于运用教学机智，如学习visitor，教者就利用后面听课的教师让学生理解visitor的含义，学习时又不着痕迹。再如学习different时，教者让学生谈论自己爱好和询问教师的爱好，通过交流乘机学习different hobbies.
