二、教学重难点分析
1、本课时需要重点掌握有关食物的单词：tomato , tofu , greenbeans , fish , potato , eggplant ，cabbage。要求通过四年级上册第五单元所学句型“what would you like for lunch?”操练所学新单词。
2、难点是本课时词汇量大，要求四会掌握的单词多。要让学生在课堂上较好掌握这些单词，教师需巧教 、趣教，努力调动学生的积极性。

（一） Greeting(歌声问候)
Ss: Good morning, good morning, good morning, Miss he.
T：Everyone, everyone, everyone,sit down,please.

A. Guess food
T: Now, let’s play “guess food”. let’s match. Which group will be “gourmet”.
One: It’s purple and long.(边说边手比划)  （eggplant）
Two: it’s red and round.                  (tomato)
Three:I’m a cat.  (模仿猫的声音，动作) do you know. What’s my favourite food?（fish）
Four: I am going to neimeng next Saturday. I want to eat“ ……”. What? (声音动作提示) （ mutton）
Five: I only know eating and sleeping. But I am useful. Usually you eat it ,then you will be stronger. (pork)
Six: it’s white and very cheap. (tofu)
Seven: look at the picture,guess. What’s it? (卡片遮一半) （cabbage）
Eight: look at the blackboard. (用简笔画边画边描述“it’s green and long, but open it , it’s round and green,too.)  (greenbeans)
Nine: please look carefully.( 卡片快速闪出快收)   （potato）

T: let’s play a game , I read loudly ,you read lightly. For example: I read“green beans”(大声) ，you will read“ green beans” (小声). Or change.

（6）Game: 前后游戏
Rule: when you listened a word in your hands, you with stap forward,then you read this word. If you listened again,please stap backward,and say again.(边说边做示范)

D. Presentation of the new sentences
T：Oh , I’m hungry. Zhang and john is hungry,too. Now , let’s see and listen carefully. What are they talk? Then tell me.

F、语法讲解
Now, look at this sentence. “I’d like some tomatoes and mutton.”
Where is different with these words? Who can tell me?
S3: 我发现tomato后面加了es , 而mutton后面没有加。
T：Right. Tomato 是一个可数名词，且以一个辅音字母t 和一个元音字母 o结尾，所以它变成复数时是加es. But  “mutton”why not?
Mutton它是一个不可数名词，不可数名词没有单复数，不用变化。
那么，还有哪些单词是与tomato同类性质的呢?(加es)  (potato)
那哪些单词是与mutton同类性质的呢（不可数名词）（pork）
而剩下的greenbeans始终是可数名词复数形式。而eggplant , cabbage , tofu , fish它们四个既是可数名词也是不可数名词。今天我们学到的是它们的不可数名词形式，所以不用变化。
